A Selection of Aviation Transactions We’ve Advised and Closed

Yellowstone Aviation (2018)

Small FBO located on the northwest side of Yellowstone park.  Seasonally open from late April through late September/early October.  Closed in winter months due to snowfall and airport closure.  Exceptional owners that ran the hands-on operations during the tourist season.  Sold due to potential retirement.

Chandler Air Service (2022)

Company was a highly successful FBO and Flight School located at the Chandler Municipal Airport (KCHD) in Chandler, AZ.  Sole source FBO with seasoned management team, exceptional new FBO Terminal and large corporate hangar facility (2015), own fuel storage, fleet of 24 aircraft, SEVIS approved along with VA credentials, and a successful aircraft maintenance department.  Owner sold to retire.

Flower Aviation (2023)

Recognized as one of the industry’s “legacy” FBOs from the early 1960s, company was owned for approximately 15 years by “new” owners Rocky and Jamie DeVencenty. The operation included an exceptional Terminal Building, several medium-to-large storage hangars, and a multi-tank fuel storage facility.  Primary line of business was fuel sales to transient corporate and GA aircraft transitioning the southern U.S.  Owners sold because of good market value conditions and to pursue other business interests.

Pro-Flight Renton (2024)

Owners founded the company in the early 1980s at the Renton Municipal Airport and successfully navigated the political climate that enabled them to build a new FBO Terminal & Executive Hangar complex in 2012.  Operations included a small aircraft maintenance shop, flight school/rental with 8 aircraft, and a successful fueling and line service department.  The Airport is the home to the Boeing 737/Max factory.  Owners sold to retire.

San Diego Jet Center (2024)

Client initially engaged BPS to provide valuation services for internal use and eventually facilitated enhanced engagement to assist in the company’s sale.  Located at Brown Field (San Diego),  SDJC was a large FBO entity with over 70+ hangars, multiple leaseholds, and exceptional annual fuel volumes. BPS was instrumental in facilitating the sale of SDJC to a large commercial real estate company that was earmarked to expand the overall FBO footprint at the airport. 

ProJet Aviation (2024)

Operator with extensive leasehold, hangars, fuel storage, and FBO Terminal/Office building at the Leesburg Executive Airport in Leesburg, VA.  BPS was instrumental in facilitating the sale via coordination and cooperation with the Clients’ respective legal counsel. Owners sold because the FBO interests were no longer was a part of their future business plans.

Texas Aero (2025)

Another well-known “legacy” FBO operator located in Waco, Texas.  Sale process was just under one (1) and entailed a renegotiation of the client’s lease and operating agreement (in preparation for a potential sale).  BPS assisted client in the process and helped to facilitate a sale process with numerous industry suitors.  Owner sold to retire.
