FBOsforSale.com is owned and operated by Business Presentation Solutions, LLC, and is one of a group of BPS-owned or affiliated websites/domains that are intended to serve the FBO and General Aviation industry with a wide range of specific professional services for aviation business owners, industry newcomers, buyers, employees and other interested parties such as private equity groups, banks, and private lenders. Business Presentation Solutions is owned by Michael Dye, and industry expert who has over 40 years of experience in the FBO and General Aviation industry.

Michael Dye - Principal & Owner

In 2017, Michael celebrated his 45th anniversary in the FBO industry. As the Owner of BPS, he heads the firm with its main office in the Denver area.
In 1999, Dye formed an aviation consulting firm, Business Presentation Solutions (“BPS”), based in Aurora, Colorado. In 2003, BPS rolled out the FBOsforSale.com and FBOConsultant.com websites as a means to reach out to FBO and GA business owners and to provide professional services to a wide range to clients both in and outside of the industry.
Dye’s early experience included various management and executive positions with Combs-Gates Denver, Jet Aviation Boston, EJA (now NetJets), and Butler Aviation (now Signature Flight Support). In 1993, his direction changed, and Dye began to focus in on providing specialized professional services for the FBO & General Aviation industry. From 2004 through 2010, Dye owned a Tier 3 FBO in the South/Central US. Now, as a former FBO owner, Michael’s first-hand ownership experience is invaluable to BPS’ clients. Consequently, over the past 25 years, Dye has developed an outstanding resume’ of first-hand experience, with a reputation as an industry expert who is in tune with business owners, managers, and buyers alike.
He serves clients who are in various stages of business development, those who are in the process of selling, and assistance to prospective buyers. He specializes in FBO Sales, FBO Valuations & Offering Documents, Business Plans (for private business owners, airport authorities, and municipalities), Expert Witness services, and Consulting Services. He is an experienced agent that can assist in sales of Part 135, Part 141 (Flight School), and Part 145 (Repair Station) businesses and certificate holders.
As a way to celebrate the completion of 40 years in the FBO and General Aviation industry, in 2012, Michael completed two one-of-a-kind eBooks targeted toward aviation business owners (Sellers) and their potential buyers.

Dye is a multi-engine, instrument pilot with approximately 2,000 hours.

Carl Muhs - Vice President - Business Development

Over the last 20 years, Carl has presided over the acquisition, development, and expansion of the Avflight FBO Chain. His experience and positive guidance were an important element that helped to grow the chain from the two (2) operations that he originally owned, to its current cadre’ of 20 locations in the U.S., Canada, and Northern Ireland.
Carl is a highly experienced professional that understands the challenges faced by FBO and General Aviation business owners who are contemplating the sale of their company. Muhs has reviewed scores of FBO business plans and financial assessments for various FBOs at all levels and in numerous countries. He has personally negotiated and completed over 20 FBO acquisitions, has reviewed dozens more. For many of these acquisitions and renewals, Muhs has extensive experience in negotiations with airports and other authorities on FBO and hangar leases.
He is currently an Advisory Board Member of the Michigan Business Aviation Association, a Committee Member of the State of Michigan’s Commercial Air Service Advisory Committee and is an active Core Team Member for the Coleman A. Young International Airport Education Association.

His move from Avflight to BPS and FBOsforSale.com is, indeed, a natural progression. His industry relationships, contacts, personnel management and customer service experience are unmatched by anyone in our segment of the FBO/GA industry.

Martin Petera - Senior Associate - IT & Marketing

Martin is the co-owner and founder of AviationBroadcast.com, a sister company of FBOsforSale.com.
In 2008, while attending the Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona, Florida, Martin saw the need a specialized industry marketing tool that would enable aviation business owners and other companies to “broadcast” their products, services, and information to others out to the corporate and general aviation industry on a moment’s notice. Thus, AviationBroadcast.com was born, and remains one of the FBO/General Aviation industry’s most recognized marketing brands.
Along with his partner, Michael Dye, Martin oversees the continued development of the AviationBroadcast.com brand, along with responsibility for on-going IT development of AviationBroadcast.com, FBOsforSale.com, FBOConsultant.com, JetsforSale.com, and several other domains that are either in development or operating daily.
Petera is an active pilot that holds commercial/instrument, and multi-engine ratings.
